More than 350 pupils participated in our Primary School Cycle Championships hosted in Prestwick in partnership with Scottish Cycling. Pupils raced within their age category and completed a skills area, all events were scored:

Competitive School Sport Calendars are in full flow this week, tonight we hosted P6/7 Basketball with Ayr Storm Basketball Club at Kyle Academy, 7 teams participated 

Our Spirit of School Sport winners shone through by displaying teamwork and encouragement throughout the event, well done Monkton Primary!

Tonight, in partnership with Ayr Storm Basketball Club, we hosted our first Basketball event of 2018/19 for P4/5 pupils.  As well as enjoying coaching and matches delivered by the club our pupils were introduced to The Spirit of School Sport 
Dundonald Primary became our first school to receive the award at an event, they achieved this by demonstrating sportsmanship, teamwork and offering support to other teams.

This morning was our S1-6 badminton competition at Prestwick Tennis Centre.

Well done to all who participated, congratulations to Bradley from Prestwick Academy who won the competition!

Well done to all 542 pupils from 24 schools who participated in our Primary School Cross Country event at Rozelle.

Congratulations to Symington Primary who won our small schools trophy and Alloway Primary who won the overall event.

Thank you to Ayr Seaforth Athletic Club for their continued support and with the event and students from University of the West of Scotland and Ayrshire College.
