Pathways

Glenburn has good links with Prestwick Tennis Centre who deliver taster sessions for P2 pupils, and provide a variety of opportunities to take part at the Tennis Centre.

Glenburn has strong links with Midton Road bowling club and every year the P6 pupils get the opportunity to go along to the club and try bowls for a 6 week block of coaching. The pupils then have the chance to take part in the cluster bowling competition.

Leadership

Both P7 classes have taken part in the Junior Coaching Academy training programme, which is aimed at giving the pupils leadership skills in sport. Some of the pupils have already been involved in helping out at clubs with more to follow later in the year.
